A soon-to-be dad is sharing his baby-naming troubles online posting to Reddit's Am I the Asshole? community for advice.
According to the dad, his wife had agreed to taking turns in naming their children, something he had suggested since he had named their first child, Charlotte.
Now, his pregnant wife would be choosing their son's name, but the problem is her choice of name: Tuesday.
"She came up to me yesterday and told me she was reading a book and found the perfect name. I asked her what and she said Tuesday. When she first said it, I admittedly laughed out loud and I asked her if she was serious. She said yes, she was, and it's her decision."
To complicate matters further, the dad also shared that the child his wife is expecting was not his biological child, but both agreed to raise the child together.
"I followed her around the house and told her absolutely no way were we naming our son Tuesday... She wasn't hearing it and pointed out she hated the name Charlotte," he explained adding that his wife cruelly reminded him that the child wasn't even his.
Despite a quick apology, the man said he was "holding steadfast we won't name him Tuesday."

As asked, some solid (and at times harsh) advice was provided.
"The whole thing is a mess, you guys should have agreed on names you both liked with the first kid," said one commenter, while another thought naming their baby was "the least of their worries."
"Maybe compromise and have the middle name be Tuesday with a regular name," offered another member of the community.
But the heavy-hitting advice came from this commenter who said the dad should suck it up and play by the rules he set.
"This is why you should never make an 'I name this baby you name the next baby' deal. Healthy couples make decisions together and don’t knowingly pick a name the other parent hates. You got your name, and while I agree that Tuesday is a stupid name, it’s her turn. You played the game, these are the rules."
